Running away from fight,
or spreading wings to fly
into future. All depends
on how one looks at it.
Afraid of heights, I am
flying still. Face into
wind, walking on air
currents. Choices made.

Notes: I am 64. In a few days will be 65, and as they say, “Time flies when you’re having fun.” And this guy is ever out there in front of me, daring me to continue.
Oh I LOVE this one, Elizabeth. The second stanza especially!!!!!! The owl is magnificent. And the “remember who you really are.” Wonderful way to start my day!!!!! I hit the big 65 in July. Ack, how did that happen?

I’m the last one who could tell you how it happened, lol. Don’t have a clue. I am afraid of heights, but there are so many ways to fly, yes?
Thanks Sherry, for your continued support,

“Walking on air currents.” What a great line! I’m right behind you … will be 64 in September. How heartening to have someone/something challenging you to continue.

Marianne, I used to think that at this age, one sort of just sat back and relaxed a bit. It isn’t happening and the hawk is only one of many challenges. Thanks for visiting,

Like Sherry, I love this one. Facing fears, taking leaps of faith, and realizing our attitudes create our perspectives. Terrific piece.

Thank you Kim. I am really liking doing the stones. There seems to be a great deal of synchronicity between them and the rest of my day.
