I really like the Internet. This is a photo from friends I have never met personally. They put up some photos of an afternoon spent at Half Moon Bay. I thought the photos were particularly stunning and asked permission to play with them. This is place taken to another dimension. I think even Dorothy and Toto would approve.
This is the original photo. What follows is the result of digitally playing with it, using the kaleidoscope app and other effects from my paint program.
I needed a break today. Wanted to get away from all the vitriolic contentiousness of the current political scene. I found it here in playing and am delighted that I did. Thanks again to Richard and Kelley, I feel both soothed and rested. And the best part? There’s more to come.
