Image is a pen and ink sketch I was doing at the shore of Lake Michigan when I spilled water on it accidentally. Luckily I remembered that I had a soft paint brush in my purse and used it before the water dried. I really like happy accidents.

Hi Elizabeth – when I saw the post on my phone and the picture you included, I didn’t go any further to even read the word choices! I used the picture as my inspiration. It’s lovely! A “happy mistake” indeed!!! I lived for a number of years about 4 blocks from the shoreline of Lake Michigan and could place myself right there in looking at the drawing/painting. 🙂
