NaPoWriMo: Day 22
Today is April 22, and officially Earth Day. No words again. My suggestion is that you go through your files and find a piece that you wrote about Nature, the Earth, or your concern for the life of this planet we call home. If you have never done such a thing, then that becomes the prompt for today. Write a fresh new poem about any or all of the subjects mentioned above. Then post it here and on your social media. We are poets and should use our craft to bring light into our world before it is darkened by greed and human consumption. Write about an animal that taught you a lesson, you might not otherwise have learned. How you might feel about the lack of responsibility we seem to have toward our home and our Mother. As I said above, you are free to use an old piece or create something new. The choice is yours.
