NaPoWriMo: Day 18

NaPoWriMo: Day 18

Words:

mistake, reason, breathe, maybe, turning, glued

Suggestions: I’ve often written about how writing is breathing lessons for me. The original meaning of the word inspire, is to breathe in. When we write the words down, we are exhaling (expressing) what has been inspired. Three deep, slow breaths will calm you down, allow you to hear that message from your deep inner well. How is your breath altered during different feeling states? Was there a time and place when you held your breath? A gasp is a breath quickly held in then exhaled forcefully. Do you remember the last time you gasped and why? What do you see and feel when watching another breathe?

I’m giving you a chance to catch your breath because I have a surprise planned. Don’t worry. Just relax and remember to breathe.

This one is simple, maybe even a bit trite, but it’s day 18 and I have some running to do,
