NaPoWriMo: Day 13

NaPoWriMo: Day 13

HOMEOFFICE - DSCN4457a1

Words: minstrel, dawn, strings, blue, flow, fingers, jangle, dangle

Suggestions: A few extra words today, couldn’t resist them. What role does music play in your life? When do you most need to listen to it? Your favorite genre? Artist? Instrument?
Is it connected to a specific emotional state? Do you use music to soothe or catapult your being? Maybe you have a specific memory where the music played an important role?

Musical Inspiration:

Image is another cut and paste mandala made by a friend from a photograph I had taken.

And remember, you can post your poems at Six for Wednesday -2 as well.

Minstrel became a cat in my poem. I like her. Maybe we need a house cat. Hazel died last fall. hmmm….

I love this prompt, Elizabeth. I hope I will be able to write something this evening. I was hoping to write yesterday, but after a day with my misbehaving 1st semester kids yesterday, I went to bed early. I was exhausted.

Here is my Day 13. Thanks, as always, for giving us a jumping off point, Elizabeth. Chose to go with a quieter/more peaceful route than jangle/dangle would allow. 🙂
