NaPoWriMo Day 5

NaPoWriMo: Day 5

Me at age four

Me at age four

Time to change things up a bit. I’ve been giving you a short word list for inspiration. This time I’m beginning with a song video. It contains the words of the song written out in brief phrases. I want you to pick one of those phrases to either title your poem, or become its first line. The choice is yours. Have fun.

This is a FUN prompt – one line jumped right out at me. Yippee!

Same thing happened to me Sherry. Thus the prompt. As always, I’m flying by the seat of my pants, which can be both scary and fun,

  4. I’ve been playing around with an online magnetic poetry kit, and wrote two pieces using it this morning. It’s fun, and yes, I was able to find the words to fill a phrase from his song. πŸ™‚ Thanks for the prompt, Elizabeth. You are stretching writer me, and I appreciate you.

I do have a set, my problem being unable to stand for lengths of time in front of the refrigerator. Although a friend said I could get a large cookie sheet and use that while staying in my chair. What you did here makes me think that might be worth a try now. Cookie sheet going on my shopping list.

Just a quick little ditty this morning, my friend, to make you smile. Cant wait to read your wild woman poem. Good luck at the doctor’s, just good news and potions to make you feel perky. Tell him I said so!

If you could see this particular doctor, you’d know that feeling perky isn’t a problem, lol. The man is gorgeous but so young looking, you just want to take care of him. And he is a listener. But all is well and I don’t have to go back for another year. Darn! And you forgot to leave your addie, my friend, we do want everyone to be able to read your delightful little ditty.
