For A River Of Stones: One Daily Observation

Vibrant splash of color,
there, then gone
in a blink of an eye.

Shy common wildflowers
in roadside ditch,
so easily missed
in rush to get
from here to there.

Had to put on the brakes and then back up a bit first, but I’m glad I spotted that flash of color. Thanks Susannah, hope all is well with you,

I have never learned all the names for the growing things I find and see. But, I don’t think they really care if I can call them by a proper name. We share something on a much different level. Thanks Sherry and hope you are doing well also,
