Journey Stone #87  Commitment

Dedicated pledge to follow through
on action or activity that can become
a discipline practiced for years. Strong
enough, it can become an anchor, even
what grounds an individual, keeps
him/her from falling over the edge
or simply drifting through life.

Daily writing is my commitment
and it has become all of those things
and more for my person.

      Becca, when I was teaching, I created the Journey Stones (made of polymer clay with words carved into them) for use in my classroom. This blog is dedicated to matters of writing. It seemed only appropriate to use them here, with the hopes that others might find inspiration and a challenge to write using them.

    Thanks Becca. They were a means of getting people on the page, and hopefully keeping them there. I have a huge popcorn tin canister full of them.
