Journey Stone #85  Destiny

Eventual destination. Where
one wants and wishes to be,
but not always where one ends
up abiding.

There are those who believe it
to be a foregone conclusion,
mapped out before birth,
foretold in the stars, written
in permanent ink on a page
in the Book of Life.

But, destiny can be changed
in a heartbeat,  just like that,
a matter of choices.

    So true. I wish children could be taught about Choices and Consequences, and I wish they would listen:) Who knew that every choice impacts the journey so profoundly? Wise words, Elizabeth.

    Thank you Sherry, I’m guessing that might be one of the reasons some of us live to say it to the next generation, so they’ll remember when they are old and must express it as well.
