Journey Stone #82

Journey Stone #82 Exhalation

Breathing out, emptying lungs.
Expressing old air so that new
air may be taken in.

Used here as the natural outcome
of inspiration. Taking in of life,
then releasing that life to make
room for more. The creative
process, which may be closely
aligned with breathing lessons.

Think about what happens when
you hold your breath for too long.

  1. Love the term “breathing lessons” – in North America, we mostly do shallow breathing, I suspect!

  2. So well said. I have notice my own visual work is like that, breathing in and out, one image becomes the next, or like the pages of a journal. Thanks for this idea.

    Very wise and cleverly written.
