Journey Stone #69

Journey Stone #69  Bravery

Ordinary people doing
extraordinary things.

Very strong sense of right
versus wrong, and a willingness
to enter the fray to uphold those
ideals, sometimes even when all
the odds are against such action.

Often, when questioned afterward,
these people will say there was no
thought involved, they just saw
what was needed and did it.

Not to be confused with
a Hero Complex.

  1. I think you have spoken a “truth.” And very well!

  2. Mike Patrick says:

A very keen observation, Elizabeth. It has been my pleasure to know many of those individuals.

  3. Marianne says:

I love this poem! More like unsung heroes!

  4. 1sojournal says:

Marianne, these weren’t intended to be poems, just one daily observations. Guess the poetry just sort of creeps in. Thank you,
