A hand up, offered to fellow
traveler, stranger or friend.
Acknowledgement of a job
well done. A lift to mind,
heart, and spirit.

Danger: might be harmful
to both giver and receiver,
if falsely offered for selfish
reasons.

    The offering of the hand is a kind of ritual. I guess I never thought of the danger of the offered hand?

      Thanks Annell, we often forget that praise can be cheap, and the easiest way to purchase a foothold on the ladder to someone else’s agenda.
