Journey Stone #32

Journey Stone #32  Refuel

Exhalation complete, time
to pull life back into lungs,
to get heart pumping in new
and different ways, to reach
out, beyond self, to engage
in replenishing those hard

Elizabeth Crawford  3/4/ 11

Note: Julia Cameron, in her book The Artist’s Way, tells us we must regularly take ourselves out on an Artist’s date. Give our senses the opportunity to engage with fresh, new experiences, or risk becoming just another empty bag of wind.

  1. Of course so good to do. Sometimes we get so busy we forget…to take your child out to play!

  2. Yes indeed. I need to do that very thing, soon.

I remember my Artist’s Way days – the morning pages, the artist’s dates. Still do them, now without thinking…

Hi Ruth, I taught classes using the book as the main format. Everytime I pick it up, I find something different and valuable within its pages. And Artists Date are a good habit to get into. Thanks for stopping in and commenting,
