Journey Stone #26

Journey Stone #26  Image

Picture created by words
on a page. Sometimes
a poem, a definition, other
times a thought, or a whole
train of them, moving on
a track that wends its way
through this life I improvise
each morning of each day…

As I pull these Journey Stones
I have molded from soft colored
clay, one by one. Formed with my
two hands, rolled and patted,
then carved with words that I choose
to give meaning to.

Enchanting, my vision of your mornings squeezing plasticene and producing coloured words.

Viv, I loved making the stones, and spent hours doing so. Loved the colors and what would appear as I rounded and patted them after a bit of blending. Sometimes images would occur, but very often I would simply know the word that was needed. A form of meditation. I like your image of me. Thank you,

Kim, I enjoyed yours as well. I really like what is happening with these daily stones. They are certainly speaking to me. Thanks for stopping and leaving your very kind words,

I loved this – the stones are interesting…but my favorite line was “this life I improvise”

Thanks Dee, I made the stones years ago to use in my classroom. A means of getting people on the page and keeping them there to explore and discover. Here, I am hoping to do the same, each stone a daily prompt, especially for myself,
