Journey Stone #24  Blind

Sometimes think I will never be
anything more than a blind woman,
brailing my way through present moments,
hands stretched out, forever reaching
to understand texture, taste and sound
of inexplicable creature I can only
narrowly define as my existence.

Love this – brailing my way through present moments is incredible, insightful, expressive…

  2. Wonderful image! …of inexplicable creature…as my esistence.

  3. Holy cow! I LOVE this one. I often feel exactly the same way – in my case, it’s because I am blind as a bat!!!! You should see me contorting myself upside down, trying to make out the caller ID on my call display, it cracks everyone up! I so love “inexplicable creature”!!!!!!

Well Sherry, I thought of a dozen other words I could use, and then decided each one of them would only give a partial image, so went with the word that covered all of them. And I too am experiencing some dimming and contorting, lol.
