Stone # 9 aros

For A River of Stones

While reading this past week,
I found a new word:
It means:

1. (in ancient worship) a sacred place
that the public was forbidden to enter;
an inner shrine.

2. the most sacred or reserved part
of any place of worship.

And I know that I have found
another word for Soul.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing the new word! What a beautiful word!

    How utterly lovely and how well it works as a poem.

    I wasn’t sure it would, but it did. As I said to you, I’ve been thinking a lot about ‘found stones,’ bright gems we find in other peoples words. This may be just a whisper of something else,

  4. vivinfrance says:

    I like the sense of an inner private place that your word gives me.

  5. 1sojournal says:

    That’s exactly what hit me as well, when I looked it up. Thanks Viv,
